Reaching the Lost, Teaching the Saved,
Sending the Trained
About Wally and Diane Cassellius
We were born and raised in Wisconsin and dairy farmed until
God calls us to the mission field in 1985. We have six
children - Jolene, who is married to Matt and lives in
Minneapolis, working toward her Doctorate Degree; Jessica
who has graduated from college and
works in Minnesota; Jake attends college in
Minneapolis; Joshua who is married to Pam and works in
church ministry in Denver, CO; Joy works with IHOP Prayer
Ministry in Atlanta, GA; and Josiah who is still living with
us in Mexico.
Our Ministry Background
We joined World Indigenous Missions (WIM) in 1985 and
graduated from King's Way Missionary Institute (a
Spanish-language school in McAllen, Texas) in May, 1986. We
then moved to Tamazunchale in the central Mexican state of
San Luis Potosi and trained with WIM missionaries Chuck and
Mary Nell Hall.
In April, 1987, we moved two hours north to Cd. Valles,
where we reside today. Soon afterwards, the Halls left for
further schooling and gave us responsibility for the area
churches. We felt the need to provide the pastors and
leaders with the tools and continued training to effectively
lead their churches. god also gave us the vision to plant a
church in the city of Valles. The Valles church celebrated
their 16th anniversary in January, 2010.
